Alden Gets Emotional While Singing “God Gave Me You”; Surprises the AlDub Fans!

So the “National Pabebe Day” has come. And this is the day, that Alden is now allowed to court her beloved Yaya Dub with Lola Nidora’s permission.

As one of grandma’s requests, Alden must serenade Yaya Dub and the Aldub Nation by singing live “God Gave Me You”, which is a very special song for AlDub love team. The challenge looks very easy for him when he accepted it yesterday. But today, something unexpected happened.

There’s no sign of nervousness for him at first, hitting the opening stanza looks fun. But few more lines suddenly made him burst into tears! He even said something more personal! Awww.

“Mga dabarkads kung napupuna niyo po palagi akong nagpapasalamat pero to’ng kantang to’, gusto ko muna ialay kay Meng (Maine). Meng para sa’yo to!”

(“If you noticed, I always give thanks but for this song, I would like to offer this for Meng (Maine). Meng, this is for you!”)

And the live audience goes wild! We’re sure in houses and social media sites, too.
