Former University of Perpetual Help System DALTA star Rey Taneo made a bold and romantic move during the NCAA Season 98 All-Star Game when he proposed to Regine Arocha, the current star athlete of the women’s volleyball team, in front of a crowd at the venue.
The proposal came as a complete surprise to Arocha, who was being interviewed by Martin Javier at the time. The interview was going well, and Arocha was discussing her experience in the all-star game when Taneo appeared and stole the spotlight.
Taneo’s proposal was met with cheers and applause from the crowd, who were ecstatic to see the young couple take their relationship to the next level. Arocha said yes, and the two shared a touching embrace, which further delighted the crowd.
Earlier in the day, Taneo was also in action in the men’s all-star game, where he led his team, the Saints, to victory over the Heroes.
