The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) arrested former model and actress Avi Siwa for allegedly selling COVID-19 test kits online without an FDA license, Friday, May 29.

Ronald Aguto, Chief of the NBI-IOD, reminded the public that there is a prohibition in the selling of COVID-19 test kits online, via tweet of ABS-CBN reporter, Niko Baua.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said in a post that “this product must be acquired through a prescription from a licensed physician from licensed hospitals, drugstores, pharmacies, or botica. Online sales are prohibited.” Moreover, Siwa is also facing estafa case after allegedly selling sacks of rice but nothing was delivered.

Siwa denied all the allegations she’s facing. She’ll fought back she said in an interview by reporters.
