Award-winning American rapper Kanye West set his own fourth of July fireworks display with the announcement “he is running for president of the United States”.
“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States [USA Flag Emoji] #2020VISION.”, the famous Grammy winner singer-songwriter announced to his 29.4 million followers on Twitter. His tweet gained different reactions on social media that made his name trending topic today.
Only few minutes away, Tesla and Space X’s founder Elon Musk sent his support to West’s bid to White House this year. Musk’s reply stirred speculations that he would be West’s partner for Vice-President.
If Kanye West will push through his declaration, he will square off against incumbent US President Donald Trump and Vice-President Joe Biden in November. His wife Kim Kardashian retweeted his announcement with a flag of America.
