Cainta Mayor Nieto auctions his Jordan shoes as cash aids in the city

Cainta Mayor Johnielle Keith Pasion Nieto started to auction his Jordan shoe collection to raise funds for the benefit of the people of the city. The proceeds will be added to finance cash aids to the families who are not covered in the Social Amelioration Program (SAP).

“Ang daming hindi nabigyan ng SAC form assistance sa atin.. kasi 37,000+ yung allocation ng cainta tas 320,000 ang tao sa atin.” Mayor Nieto started his Facebook post on April 14, Tuesday. He revealed not even half of the population in Cainta received the SAC assistance form.

“Wala naman tayong perang tulad ng Pasig na kayang tustusan yung mga hindi na cover ng dswd program.. “, he refers to Pasig local government unit having own supplemental cash aid program to cover the families who are not included in the DSWD Social Amelioration Program announced by Mayor Vico Sotto.

“Naisip kong mag auction ng ilang gamit ko tas yung proceeds bigay ko sa mga hindi na cover.. makatulong kahit paano..” this leads him to auction his shoe collection. “Araw araw hanggang matapos ang quarantine, mag auction ako ng 3 pares hanggang maubos ang virus o maubos ang koleksyon ko”, he said he’ll auction three items every day until the virus or his collection runs out.
