Pizza guy buys bread from saved tips to give to people on the streets

A Facebook post of a bakery owner about a pizza delivery rider goes viral on Easter Sunday, April 12.

As the country remains under enhanced community quarantine, “a pizza delivery rider has been buying assorted bread from our bakery for the past few days,” Raina Ominga said in a viral post. Raina’s initial thought is if the Pizza company (Pizza Hut) gives it.

To her curiosity, Raina asked the Pizza Hut rider, “Sabi ni Kuya, lahat daw ng nakukuha niyang tip everytime nagdedeliver sya, iniipon niya pambibili niya ng bread. Then pinapamigay niya sa mga taong nakikita niya sa kalsada along the way.”

(According to the Pizza Hut rider, he buys the assorted bread from the service tips he saved, which he received every time he has a delivery. Then he gives it to anyone he saw along the road.)

They were stunned after hearing it from the Good Samaritan. “And that, my friend, is how we encounter Christ this Easter Sunday. Glory to God in the Highest!”

The beautiful act of selflessness by the pizza delivery guy amid the lockdown is a great example to praise Christ especially this Easter Sunday.
