Netizen sells his portrait arts to aid pay mother’s hospital bill and medication

Davao City – A worried millennial artist needs to sell his portrait artworks to help pay the hospital bills and medication of her mother.

Ritzel Obreque Oyao said on a viral Facebook post that his mother was attacked with high blood pressure and unable to move the right part of the body. They rushed her to the hospital afterwards. He said that his father has no Philhealth. They were both worried about the money that they’ll be needing to pay the bills and medication of her mother. This leads him to post and sell his treasured artworks.

“Please help… Attacked by my HB mama, she can’t move the right part of her body. My father is not yet in PhilHealth. I don’t know how to pay the Hospital bills. Papa said where will he get money.”, he said.

“I’m selling all my Fan Art portrait for treatment for mama.” he added.

His post got immediate attention and support from many netizens, which is shared more than 56 thousand times with 39 thousand positive reactions, three hours after it was posted, as of this writing. Many sends their prayers and support for the fast recovery of her mother.

One netizen commissioned Ritzel to draw her baby. “Nagpagawa ako sa kanya ng portrait ng baby ko, kuhang -kuha nya….kaya i paid a good amount for his talent”, she said.

There is one that encouraged other netizens to also subscribe to Ritzel’s YouTube Channel where he showcased his process of his drawings. Moreover, some netizens send direct messages to social media accounts of the Filipino celebrities he drew like Daniel Padilla, Amy Perez, Sue Ramirez, and James Reid, to know if they could also send help.
