Jang Lucero’s partner “ex-girlfriend” suspect in murder case, arrested

One of the six suspects in the murder of Robyn Jang Lucero has been arrested, according to authorities.

Jang Lucero, 34, is the lady carpool driver who got stabbed to death, 52 times by passengers inside her vehicle in Calamba, Laguna.

The suspect named Ann Sheila Montes Belarmino. She was said as the victim’s partner “ex-girlfriend” was arrested by the Calamba police on July 3, Friday. Belarmino has been identified by the witnesses through the CCTV camera.

According to the authorities, love triangle is the motive for the crime.

Jang Lucero’s partner who is also a resident of Laguna named Meyah Amatorio.

Her body was found last June 28, 2020, at Bucal Bypass Road, Barangay Maunong, Calamba City, Laguna.

Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao, director of the CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) Regional Police assured that the other five suspects will fall in the hands of authorities.

“We will make sure the other suspects in the killing of Jang Lucero will fall in the hands of the authorities. We will maximize our efforts so that the remaining suspects will be put behind bars and that justice will be served,” said Danao.
